Section 01

The challenge: certified but unfindable

Electra Panels builds CE and UL certified electrical panels for infrastructure projects. Their certifications were real — but sitting in PDF folders nobody searched. Buyer-side filters for certified panel builders could not see them, so invitations went to louder competitors.

Section 02

What changed: documents where the filters look

Electra restructured their Sourceby profile around how buyers actually filter: certification status current, documents attached to the profile, capability ranges explicit.

  • CE and UL documentation attached and current
  • Capability ranges published instead of described in prose
  • Verification completed so buyer filters trust the data
Section 03

Results: 4× invitations

RFQ invitations quadrupled within two months of completing verification and restructuring the profile — with a 96% profile-fit rate on incoming invites. The additional quotes required no additional marketing spend.

Why it works
Buyers filter before they shortlist. A certification the filter cannot see does not exist.
Section 04

What to copy

Do the unglamorous work first: verify, attach documents, publish ranges. Then keep the profile current — a lapsed cert date silently removes you from every filter it backs. Treat the profile as live infrastructure, not a one-time registration.
